IN CLASS WORK
1. Watch the videos and answer:
What type of eraser did they use?
What type of blender did they use?
2. Find 3 photos that you would like to draw from.

You can trace the photo if you took it.

Practice coloring and blending specific areas of your photo.

Look up youtube videos to help you draw fur, skin, metal, etc..

Choose the photo you want to draw for your final
3. Wood Board:
-
Sand down ONLY the edges of the wood board.
-
Think about the pattern on the wood and consider the direction of the grain.

Decide which part of your photo to leave the wood showing.
4. Assignment:
-
Put your photos on the Google slide shared with the class.
-
Use the projector to trace your photo lightly in pencil on to the wood board.
-
Use Prismacolor pencils to color.
PRISMACOLOR TIPS
-
Write down the number listed on the Prismacolor pencils you are using so you can easily find it again.
-
Practice blending colors on the back of the wood panel (it will look different from the white paper).
